Christmas Tree Ornament Idea Using Disa Element Tutorial

You will start with a RAW chain consisting of 27 units, and then you will connect them making the 28th unit. If you need help learning Right Angle Weave, check my tutorial for beginners.

After making the RAW ring, you will add seed beads size 15 on one side of the ring in between each seed bead size 11.

Then you will connect Disa elements with the RAW ring.

After attaching all four elements, add bugle beads and firepolish beads above each Disa element.

Then you will add long beaded elements with teardrop crystals in between them.

If you like the result, you can keep the ornament the way it is.

Or, continue beading and add more connections between Disa elements.

I created this Christmas Tree Ornament right under the lens of the camera while I was recording the video. Naturally, I had to redo some steps several times, as the design was not fitting well. It is not perfect, but it is a quick and easy project. Disa pattern is a must-have element to make it. I believe, that you can easily change the order of beads while you re-create this idea. It would be great to see what you create using your beads and possibly new ideas for this ornament.

Happy beading!
