Crystal Heart Pendant Free-form Design

I created this crystal heart pendant free-form design as a gift for a person very close to my heart. 

The pendant is unique and can’t be replicated.

Crystal Heart Pendant Free-form Design

Swarovski Crystal Heart Component

As you probably already know, Swarovski won’t distribute beads to stores for artists in the handcrafting field. However, even in the past, they have introduced and discontinued many different components.

At some point, I acquired several faceted heart crystals of different colors. I immediately created a necklace with one of them. Sold it and continued making necklaces. People loved the crystal heart as a focal point in all my designs. 

When I found out about changes in the Swarovski company, I remembered that I still have one heart component. And just before the holidays, I needed something special to design with.

Free-form Peyote Technique

Free-form peyote beading is a technique that will always make creations unique because it is virtually impossible to replicate a beaded piece completed using this method.

I have tried this technique for several designs already. It is so much fun to bead using it! Even my prediction of how the design will work out is not very clear, and that makes the creation process fascinating! 

Colors

The last heart component was a red color. In the past, I also made Crystal Heart and Red Garnet necklace with the same color focal point. However, red is not the only color I like. The classic silver and gold tones look attractive in my other necklace design with a crystal heart.
