Would you wear a handmade freshwater pearl cameo pendant?
I would! And I like making them!
The new cameo pendant in my collection was inspired by my previous bead embroidery pendants with a faux cameo. The beige colors dominated one pendant, and the other had more purple tones.
This time I picked a smaller cameo. The colors of it allowed me to pick any accent color I would like.
What do you think is the accent bead or color here?
Historically, pearls were often used in jewelry designs with a cameo. I followed this tradition and added freshwater pearls to this pendant.
As I was finishing the pendant, I realized I need more cameo for future design projects. Any recommendations on where to buy good quality cameos?
