Funtile Necklace Pattern Tutorial

Funtile Necklace is one of my favorite jewelry pieces to wear to events. It earned many compliments as a unique and stylish accessory. Taking a sample of this necklace to numerous craft shows, it also was noticed as an unexpected and pleasing design idea.

Funtile Necklace Pattern Tutorial

The tutorial and pattern for Funtile Necklace  explains how to create a jewelry piece featuring Kheops Puca beads, Czechmates Tiles and “O” beads.

The idea for this design was born on a rainy day when I decided to play with the new beads I just purchased. Guess what? They were Kheops Puca beads! Several tubes of them!

I was so excited! I immediately searched online for patterns but found nothing interesting. So I came up with my own design.

The necklace is relatively quick to make: the whole piece can be completed in a couple of days. While it is snowing or raining outside, you can choose to take it easy and have fun with these new beads. This way you will stay positive about the weather.

The Pendant part of the necklace is an interesting jewelry piece on its own.  You can make and wear this pendant separately stringing it on a ribbon or any other favorable material. Let your creativity guide you!

I also made a pair of earrings to complement the necklace. You may choose to do it, too.  All you need is two 12 mm Rivoli glass crystals and some beads from Funtile Necklace project. The tutorial includes the description about bezeling a Rivoli. You can use it to create earrings in a future.

Happy beading!
