Peyote stitch Starfish beaded bracelet is a part of the custom order jewelry set featuring starfish.
If you follow my blog for a while, you are familiar with peyote stitch base bracelets I’ve been making for past several years. Starfish bracelet is one of the variations of this beadwork idea. It has a peyote base and embellishment layer. I described this idea in details in one of my earlier articles: Peyote Stitch Bracelet Idea. You will find the basic peyote stitch tutorial there, as well as general instructions on making the bracelet.
The Starfish bracelet is slightly different from all previous bracelets. It has a new embellishing element.
The Starfish
The new addition to the peyote based bracelet design is a beaded starfish. It is the uniting element of the design for both parts of the jewelry set: Starfish Earrings and the bracelet.
Since I decided to stick to beadweaving techniques for the bracelet, I had to make my own woven version of the starfish using peyote stitch and seed beads. If you are interested in the tutorial for my kind of starfish, please let me know in the comments below.

Embellishments
The rest of the bracelet embellishment consists of the familiar “loops” of seed beads and larger accent beads. I place them in the almost random order following the organically balanced design sketch which I prepare before I start beading. As I mentioned above, you may check my Peyote Stitch Bracelet Idea and find all the basic instructions there.
Preparation Questions

Sorry to be such a pest but…I haven’t seen anything yet on how you made your starfish for the bracelet. I really liked your little starfish and would really like the pattern to do those as they are much smaller than anything else currently out there. Please advise.
